A little enjoyment and fun activities, while working under pressure and deadlines is something very acceptable, so a carrom tournament was organised in our office.
The tournament started on November 30, 2019 and was concluded on January 6, 2018. The tournament lasted for 45 days, so the finale was a big day.
All the employees participated in the tournament with enthusiasm, some of them were playing it for the first time, and some of them were pro-carrom players. The event reminded everyone of the golden school and college days, when friends and family members used to play carrom together as teams.
Pallavi and Mukesh from the digital team were the two finalists of the tournament. Around 12:30 pm, the finale began, and the excitement bursted out of everyone’s expressions. Both the finalists were good at playing carrom as they exchanged innovative strikes on the board which made the competition among the two finalists more tough.
After a tough match which lasted for an hour, Pallavi won the match with a final strike on the board bringing glory to the girl’s squad. The two finalists were awarded with Amazon gift vouchers, and the whole office celebrated the successful event with tea and snacks.
