Cirkl is a modern digital business card management application that addresses the contemporary challenges of contact sharing, categorization, and accessibility in the world of networking and professional interactions. Problem

Our client, a frequent attendee of various business events and conferences, experienced the inefficiencies of traditional physical business cards. With a growing number of employees under his leadership, managing and sharing contact information became a significant challenge. Physical cards were prone to getting lost or misplaced, which was a significant contributing factor to the lack of effective networking.

The client needed a solution that would:

  • Digitise the process of contact sharing for individuals and businesses.
  • Allow users to categorise and organise contacts.
  • Enable sharing of contacts across various platforms for seamless communication.
  • Provide a secure and user-friendly environment for contact management and sharing.

Technical Solution

To address these challenges, we developed the Cirkl app, a feature-rich digital business card management platform. Here’s how we implemented the technical solution:

  1. Mobile App Development: We utilised the Flutter framework to create a cross-platform mobile app for both Android and iOS. This approach ensured that Cirkl would be accessible to a broad user base, regardless of their device preferences.
  2. Backend Development: On the server side, we implemented Node.js to create a robust backend for Cirkl. This allowed for real-time data synchronisation and a responsive user experience.
  3. Database Management: SQL databases were integrated to efficiently store and manage user contact data. This enabled quick retrieval and organisation of contacts in different folders.
  4. Security: We prioritised user data security by implementing JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for authentication and authorization. This ensured that user information remained protected from unauthorised access.
